I created a new poll, so why isn't it displaying on my site?

The current date doesn't fall within the date range you specified when you created the poll. Check your Start and End dates.

Can I make changes to a poll that is currently running on the site?

Yes. The poll system will allow you to make changes to an active poll. This is useful if a typo is found, or there are complaints that questions do not make sense.

Why can't anyone vote on a poll I just created?

Your "Vote End Date" has already passed, allowing people to view the results, but they cannot vote. Simply change the vote end date for that poll.

Can I control whether someone can see the results before voting?

Yes. When creating a poll, you can select whether or not a visitor can view the results before voting.

Is there a way for visitors to view archived polls?

Currently there is no way for a site visitor to access expired polls.

Is there any protection to keep someone from casting multiple votes?

Yes, the poll doesn't allow a visitor to cast multiple votes as a Temporary Internet file (cookie) is set. However, if someone deletes their Temporary Internet files (cookie), they will be able to vote again.

Note: The online poll isn't designed to take a scientific survey.
