Staff Pages & Distance Learning

Many schools and districts have either chosen or been guided by community leaders to close school buildings in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. If you are experiencing the transition to online- or distance-learning, this is a great time to utilize your SOCS site's Staff Pages feature, so teachers can publish and link assignments and lesson plans, as well as continue open communication with their students. 

Use Staff Pages to post links to your lesson plans, documents, and videos.  

  • ​Staff Blog is to keep in touch with students
  • Staff Page articles, with moderated feedback, will allow your students to interact.​

Always create new users rather than editing existing user's profiles with a new user's information. When you delete the old user you can re-assign all of their articles to the new user. Please see Re-assigning Staff Pages from a Previous Teacher to a New Teacher for specific instructions on adding a new Staff Page user and transferring articles to them.
